The Big Reveal: Meet Elevation Accounting & Advisory Inc.
For the past month, you might have noticed some hints, some teases, maybe even a few behind-the-scenes glimpses of something big brewing. Well, today's the day we can finally share what we've been working on:
Altitude Accounting is becoming Elevation Accounting & Advisory Inc.
It's been both challenging and incredibly rewarding to go through this process. Like most meaningful changes in business, it started with a simple question: "Are we still the same company we were when we chose our original name?"
The answer, honestly, was no. We've grown. Our mission has expanded. And we decided our name needed to reflect who we've become and where we're headed.
What's Really Behind the Change
When we first started as Altitude Accounting, we were focused on providing solid, reliable bookkeeping and accounting services. We were really good at that, but we started noticing those little ways that we were different from other companies. People said things like, “I love how you actually take the time to explain things to me,” and “I’ve never worked with an accountant who did more than just check the boxes.”
That became important to us. We weren’t just here for the numbers: we were here for people, and we understood the reality of building a business.
That's when we realized we weren't just accountants anymore—we were advisors. We weren't just tracking what happened to your money, but actively helping you design what happens next. And instead of focusing only on compliance, we put a heavy emphasis on clarity through systems like our Fast Track to Sustainable Profits program.
The Process (And the People Who Made It Happen)
As it turns out, rebranding isn't just about picking a new name and slapping it on a website. It's about digging deep into who you are, what you stand for, and how you want to show up in the world. We couldn't have done this without Katie Dooley of Paper Lime Creative, who helped us design our new look.
Katie walked us through a process that was part therapy session, part creative workshop, and part strategic planning meeting. It was also surprisingly fun! She asked questions that made us think about not just what we do, but why we do it. Not just how we work, but how we want our clients to feel when they work with us.
We knew we wanted something that told people right away that we are real human beings helping other real human beings. Nothing stuffy, nothing stiff, and nothing intimidating.
Why "Elevation" Makes Perfect Sense
While it’s similar to Altitude in some ways, the name Elevation captures something just a little different: it represents movement and progress. And that fits with how we approach finances. We’re not just maintaining your financial status quo; we're actively working to lift it to new levels.

That movement (elevation) happens intentionally.
This name change and brand update was intentional, too. When your brand truly reflects who you are and what you do, everything else gets easier. You can show up more naturally because you're showing up as yourself. That’s what we want for clients, so that’s what we did for ourselves!
